Fabrication & Welding: Auxiliary Boiler Stack Part A & B
Client: Bitar Metal Industries & Marine Service Co.
Synergy managed the full quality control lifecycle for the fabrication of Auxiliary Boiler Stack Parts A & B. These components are critical for exhausting high-velocity gases and must withstand significant thermal expansion and marine environmental stresses.
The Technical Execution:
We implemented a rigorous "cradle-to-grave" inspection protocol to guarantee structural durability:
* Pre-Fabrication: Performed Material Receiving audits and UTT (Ultrasonic Thickness Testing) to verify plate integrity and ensure the raw materials met design specifications.
* Qualifications: Established specialized WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and conducted WQT (Welder Qualification Tests) to certify that all fabrication met high-pressure boiler standards.
* NDT Verification: Executed a multi-method testing regime, including RT for internal weld soundness, PT for surface-breaking defects, and VT for final dimensional and profile accuracy.
The Result:
By combining proactive material verification with strict welding oversight, Synergy ensured that Bitar Metal Industries delivered stack components that were both structurally robust and fully compliant with international marine and industrial codes.
